Job Description

this role is responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, and developing strategic partnerships with modern trade channel. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, relationship management, and analytical skills to ensure the brand's products are optimally positioned and sold through Modern Trade channel.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within the modern trade channel.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and execute business plans to ensure the achievement of sales and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and Modern Trade.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with key accounts to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with agreements, promotional plans, and pricing policies.
  • Develop and implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Ensure effective product placement, merchandising, and in-store visibility.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and make adjustments as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends in modern trade.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on modern trade or key account management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in modern trade role.
  • Experience in the FMCG is preferred.
