We are looking for a Unix/Linux Engineer (Medina Airport)
Description of work:
Planning, designing, installing Unix/Linux systems, storage units, server hardware and backup systems at the terminals he is responsible for, and ensuring that 24/7 operation support is provided safely and without any problems.
Main Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, installation, administration, configuration, upgrade, migration and maintenance of Linux Servers and automation tools. (Debian and Redhat derivatives,Ansible,Satellite etc. )
- Experience with Server, Storage & SAN (Storage area Network) hardware setup, management and maintenance. Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Openshift, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Responsible for performance monitoring and tuning of systems.
- Installation and management of backup systems. (Veeam Backup).
- Maintaining high availability and redundancy of business critical Unix/Linux systems, SAN, Backup and VMware systems.
- To close the security gaps of the systems for which it is responsible within the scope of internal and external audit.
- To carry out feasibility studies to determine the needs within the scope of Unix/Linux systems, backup system, storage units and virtual systems in new projects.
- To follow the technological development of the systems under his responsibility, to ensure that they are applied to the institution in case of need.
- Responsible for performing these and similar jobs given by the manager within the scope of the job description.
- To produce solutions by quickly taking over the related requests coming through of course.

- Performing long-term planning for hardware and software upgrades, prepare annual capacity plans.
- Administer and execute various management activities and manage all backup activities.
- Preparing as well as enforcing information security management system documentation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
Relevant work experience: 5 years
Foreign Language: English
Level: Good: In getting the job done; at a sufficient level to explain and understand instructions, discuss an issue, read and write a report.
