- Salary: AED 4000 - 5500 (Depending upon experience)
- Position Overview: We are seeking an Auto Upholsterer with experience in cars.
Interpreting design orders and creating upholstery stencils.
- Selecting and sourcing upholstery materials (Outer material and foam)
Dismantling furniture/car seats for upholstery preparation.- Measuring and cutting leather or fabric with the aid of design stencils.
Installing foam and batting to the parts framework.
- Installing and repairing webbing and seating springs.
Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings. xxvi. Stitching, gluing, and nailing fabric into place.- Smoothing out imperfections.
Conducting quality checks on completed orders.
- Conducting material check and giving parts request orders to workshop engineer.
Conducting material inspection and giving time frames to workshop engineer to complete the work after material arrival
Proven experience as an Auto Upholsterer, preferably in an automotive industry- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in classic car restoration is highly preferred.
