Job Description
The UI/UX Designer is responsible for gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. This is to create both functional and appealing features that address D360 customers needs and to turn the software into an easy-to-use product for our clients. He/she will work closely with products and UX team to deliver user- centric solutions, following a design thinking methodology while working in agile environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research. Analyse, share findings and provide insights on the user's behavior, frustration, motivation, and end goal that will inform the design decisions
- Follow a design thinking approach from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and testing interactions and user flows
- Run usability tests to capture users pain points and make more intuitive and user-friendly experience
- Deliver coherent and delightful UX concepts, along with plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualizes the larger vision over time
- Translate wireframe into compelling meaningful UI while having a user centric mindset, following brand guidelines & digital design standards
- Partner with copywriters to ensure copy works effectively within Layout and communicate the right message
- Collaborate in creation and maintenance of state-of-the-art design system to optimize ease-of use and achieve an integrated and consistent look and feel.
- Effectively document and hand-off design files to developers and engineering and preform quality control on design after implementation
- Help junior UX designers, providing guidance and feedback
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security (EIS) policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary-level qualification from a recognized institution in Graphic/Digital design, Human Computer interaction or related design program
Years & Nature of Experience
- Will be a fresh graduate with 3 years of experience in UI & UX design experience with familiarity in both web and mobile
- A rich portfolio highlighting multiple projects and focusing on direct contribution
- At least 1 case study highlighting the design process used
- Good knowledgeable of Figma, sketch or adobe XD Familiarity with Photoshop & Illustrator
- Understand & Apply UX laws (Hick's law, similarity, proximity) & design principles (typography, layout, colour )
- Team player, open communicator, self-motivated and highly organized with drive to get thing done
- Strong English communication skills to be able to present and communicate your design work to all stakeholders
- Fintech experience is a plus
