Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VAPT Engineer (Vulnerability Assessment and Pen-Testing) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cyber security, with a focus on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities to protect our clients digital assets including Web, Network and Mobile applications.

The Ideal candidate must be able to report, explain and conduct sessions to technical teams regarding any findings and provide possible solutions accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on various resources like Web apps, networks, and mobile applications.
  • Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices and integrate security into the software development lifecycle ( DevSecOps ).
  • Develop Dashboards-based Vulnerability Management capability to facilitate the process with other functions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentations of testing methodologies, findings, and remediation steps.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on security matters, including security architecture, threat modeling, and incident response.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, with a strong and deep understanding of basic foundation of ( Web / API, Networking ), common vulnerabilities and attack vectors
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard security tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, OWASP ZAP).
  • Strong knowledge of Network Protocols, Operating Systems, Web / API application security and Cryprography.
  • Experience with at least one of Programming / Scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Go, Python, Bash) and automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in an international based culture and dynamic environment.
