Vehicle Electrician

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in vehicles, particularly those imported from the USA. You will play a key role in ensuring that all vehicles are fully functional and ready for auction.

• Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Diagnostics: Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues in vehicles, including problems with wiring, batteries, alternators, and electronic control systems.

• Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicle electrical systems, including troubleshooting faults, replacing components, and repairing wiring and connectors.

System Installation: Install and configure electrical systems and accessories as required, ensuring compatibility with vehicle specifications and safety standards.

Quality Control: Ensure all electrical repairs and installations meet Gulf Cars Auctions quality standards and are completed efficiently.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including detailed reports on repairs, parts used, and time spent.

• Collaboration: Work closely with mechanics and other team members to ensure vehicles are fully prepared for auction, addressing any electrical issues that may arise during the preparation process.

Compliance: Follow safety regulations and company policies while performing electrical work, ensuring all procedures are carried out in compliance with industry standards.

• Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Electrician, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in vehicles.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical testing and repair.

Knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and components.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant certifications and licenses are preferred.
