Urgent requirement for a Vice President, Asset Management Domestic Sales (Qatarization) to based in Qatar for a major financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for asset management products and services, with a focus on expanding the domestic client base.
- Identify market opportunities and create actionable plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key domestic clients, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and other high-profile stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing client needs promptly while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and driving the achievement of ambitious sales targets.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes to ensure the team is equipped for success.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends, customer demands, and emerging market opportunities.
- Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and adjust product offerings to meet evolving client needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, product development, and portfolio management, to ensure sales efforts are aligned with broader business objectives.
- Work with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment, optimal resource allocation, and successful execution of business initiatives.
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in asset management sales, with a strong focus on domestic markets.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and consistently achieving revenue goals.
- Extensive experience managing high-value client relationships and deep knowledge of domestic market dynamics.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performance sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to drive strategy.
- Solid understanding of investment and finance principles.
- CISI Certificate Level 1 is required.
