Sobha Constructions is a fast-growing construction company in the Middle East with a vision to be a pioneer in redefining the quality standards in construction. We are looking to hire seasoned leader as Vice President Projects ( For University and School Projects) who can work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently draw look-ahead plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and managing overall construction operations for multiple projects which include.
- Managing construction budgets
- Managing construction schedules
- Overseeing all major pricing decisions, selecting, and managing the right vendors and contractors,
- Ensuring compliance with local and International building codes and regulations
- Ensuring products are delivered as per the Sobha Quality standards.
- Maintaining construction sites safety.
- Lead the construction team, providing direction, setting performance expectations and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct periodic business review meetings with different departments and guide them to continuously improve performance and productivity.
- Coordinate and conduct review meetings with different stakeholders ( Client and consultant) to obtain necessary designs, specifications, permits, and approval for the timely completion of projects.
- Develop and manage highly productive relationships and partnerships both internally and externally.
- Identify future work needs while anticipating future resource needs, including personnel, and equipment, and how this impacts future and current schedule projections. Mobilize and manage project management staff, field operations staff, equipment, etc required to meet the project objectives.
- Actively participate in the career development of personnel in the middle and lower management staffs (Managers, Engineers, and Foreman), including training and development goals, performance evaluations, and training
- Responsible for implementing total quality management practices and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and Innovation among the team members.
- Implementing sustainability and green building practices into construction projects to enhance environmental responsibility and efficiency.
