Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team at Dekmak. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the technical expertise to bring ideas to life. Bonus points if you have skills in animation! You'll play a vital role in crafting engaging video content, ensuring each project is impactful and on-brand.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into high-quality video content tailored for various platforms (social media, ads, campaigns).
• Incorporate visual effects, sound design, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to align with project goals.
• Develop motion graphics or animations as needed (if applicable).
• Ensure all videos are technically optimized for different platforms and formats.
• Stay updated on video editing and animation trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Animation, or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in video editing.

Proficiency in video editing software.

Knowledge of animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a strong advantage.

Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and contribute as a positive and proactive team member.
