Role Description
This is mostly a Remote role for a Video Editor at Medzone. Due to our current budget constraints, we are looking for a talented Video Editor who can work with us part-time, with the potential for a full-time position as our workload and budget expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit horizontal and vertical videos.
- Source and integrate online video footage to enhance edits.
- Apply sound design to ensure audio quality matches video excellence.
- Ensure all videos meet high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the creative team to receive and incorporate feedback.
- Maintain organized project files and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Occasionally visit the office (once or twice a week) for meetings and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects [basics]
- Sound design experience is highly preferable
- Ability to create engaging horizontal and vertical videos
- Experience in sourcing and integrating online video footage
- Video color grading and color correction
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to take and follow direction while also contributing creative ideas
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Attention to detail and excellent visual storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
