As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in supporting the post-production process, assisting in the creation of compelling and polished content. Working under the guidance of the creative team, you will be responsible for various aspects of video editing, ensuring a seamless and engaging final product. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within a dynamic creative environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with the creatives to edit video content for different platforms, including but not limited to films, advertisements, and online media.
- Cut and assemble raw footage, add music, graphics, and special effects as directed.
- Assist in organizing and managing media assets, ensuring a smooth and efficient editing workflow.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain an organized file structure for projects.
- Acquire proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Assist in mastering various editing techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project's goals and overall creative direction.
- Implement feedback to enhance the quality and impact of the edited content.
- Assist in basic color correction and sound editing to enhance the visual and auditory appeal of the content.
- Learn and apply fundamental techniques for improving video quality.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework in Film Editing, Media Production, or a related field.
- Entry-level experience in video editing, with a passion for developing editing skills.
- Familiarity with video editing software is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of video editing principles and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Eagerness to gain proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
- Demonstrated creative skills and an eye for detail in visual storytelling.
- Willingness to contribute ideas and adapt to different editing styles.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work closely with team members and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
