Job Summary:

The Visual Artist / Urban Illustrator occupies a pivotal role within our placemaking team, charged with the creation and curation of compelling visual narratives for a wide array of projects, including project proposals and competition entries. This role demands a highly creative individual equipped with skills spanning architecture, urban design, and landscape / public realm. Working in close synergy with the designers, the Visual Artist will bring to life the strategies and design concepts that underpin the projects, enabling stakeholders to visualize and engage with our visions for urban spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting and curating visual narratives that effectively communicate the vision, strategy, and design concepts;
• Collaborating within the design team to ensure a cohesive and storytelling narrative that conceptualizes innovative visual approaches to design ideas and strategies;
• Utilizing a broad array of mediums and techniques, including 3D modeling software, digital illustrations, and hand sketches to produce visual materials.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or similar;
• Minimum 2-5 years work experience in urban design/master planning practice;
• Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in hand sketches, digital illustration, and visual storytelling;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Experience in working on projects in the MENA Region is advantageous.
