Role Purpose
Perform tasks and service procedures as per the standards of the brand and the rules and regulations of the company to provide guests with remarkable experience.
Accountabilities
- Execute the opening process and procedure to ensure the restaurant readiness to receiving guests.
- Attend the trainings and kick-off meetings to get the required information and instructions to be implemented on floor.
- Maintain the inventory and ensure proper usage for the chinaware and cutlery to keep the breakage percentage within the acceptable limits.
- Handle the guests welcoming, menu offering, seating, and order taking to provide remarkable experience for the restaurant's guests.
- Advise the guests on recommendations, portions or number of items ordered if needed to ensure a positive impression about the restaurant.
- Handle and report guest complaints and escalate to floor manager (if required) to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that the table turn around time is minimized and that they are readily available for new guests and properly setup.
- Execute the closing routine and ensure that all the tasks have been handled and completed properly.
- Maintain service quality control and escalate to the Waiter Supervisor, if needed, to uphold brand standards and provide a consistent guest experience.
- Ensure smooth running of the services for the guests orders in the assigned section.
- Job holder accountabilities are not limited to the above mentioned, the line manager can assign additional responsibilities when required.
