Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
Order Management
Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
Monitor tables and attend to guests needs throughout their dining experience.
Ensure accuracy in order delivery and handle any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Customer Service
Provide attentive and courteous service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Create a welcoming and positive dining atmosphere.
Table Maintenance
Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set up before guests are seated.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Assist with the preparation and organization of dining areas.
Payment Processing
Present bills, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
Use the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments.
Ensure proper handling of credit card transactions and maintain accuracy in billing.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
Assist with food running, drink preparation, and other tasks as needed.
Support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus.
Positive attitude, team spirit, and a willingness to learn and grow.
