Job Title: Warehouse Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Accountant to join our team in the UAE. As a Warehouse Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records and transactions related to our warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, combined with experience in warehouse management systems and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports on a regular basis.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze warehouse operational costs, including procurement, inventory, and logistics expenses.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording of stock movements, reconciliation of physical inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities, providing insights into financial performance and trends affecting warehouse operations.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. Facilitate internal and external audits as necessary.
- System Implementation: Collaborate with IT and operational teams to implement and enhance warehouse management systems (WMS) and financial software solutions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Reporting: Prepare management reports and dashboards to communicate financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or similar certification preferred.
- 3-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across different departments.
