The Role
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Logistics Co-ordinator to join our team based in Fujairah.
You will verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
As a Warehouse and Logistics Co-ordinator, your duties will include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise, materials or accompanying paperwork. You will also be receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise, materials or accompanying paperwork; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Use standard office software to carry out basic formatting on letters, memoranda and routine reports.
- Maintain and retrieve accurate files and records from company filing systems; managing own workload according to assigned schedule.
- Exchange information with internal clients by having courteous interactions with them.
- Follow a mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
- Follow mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Determine shipping methods, routes or rates for materials to be shipped and compare shipping routes or methods to determine which have the least environmental impact.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Pack, seal, label or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools or postage meter
- Contacts carrier representatives to arrange or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.

About You
Essential criteria:
- Educated to undergraduate level
- Thorough knowledge in full supply chain operation cycle starting from preparing sales quotation to customers till invoice / closing of the customer orders.
- Working knowledge in any ERP Software operation handling customer enquiries and customer order deliveries.
- Knowledge in Excel application and should be able to prepare and analyse inventory reports.
- Working knowledge in store and warehouse and should be able to manage periodic inventory stock counts.
- Good communication skills, proactive approach, to work independently without any supervision
- Makes effective use of the latest technologies and terminology required for success in the role
- Experience in manoeuvring comfortably through complex policy, process and people-related organisational dynamics
