Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:

Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.

• Develop and implement staff schedules and work assignments.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Inventory Management:

Ensure accurate inventory tracking and control.

• Implement and maintain inventory management systems.

Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

• Operations Management:

Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products.

• Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space and resources.

Monitor and improve warehouse operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

• Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Provide training on safe work practices and emergency procedures.

• Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate with suppliers, transportation companies, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

• Manage and optimize logistics processes and routes.

Resolve any issues related to shipping, receiving, or distribution.

• Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and vehicles.

• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and delivery times.

Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
