JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for determining warranty eligibility based on warranty claims submitted from the field based on Component failures.- Process warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all warranty claims are compliant with manufacturer policies and guidelines.
- Maintain and update warranty records and databases.
Verify and process warranty parts returns.- Monitor and follow up on unpaid warranty claims.
Warranty coverage allowed.
- Established flat rate guidelines.
Established labor rate.- Allowed mileage and travel time.
Process claims promptly.
- Maintain open lines of communication with all relevant departments.
Prepare and present regular reports on warranty claim status and performance.- Liaise with service advisors, technicians, and parts departments to ensure smooth workflow
Review claims for excessive costs and push back where appropriate.
- Identify trends and major warranty issues and assist product/process improvements to reduce warranty costs and improve customer satisfaction.
Control claim processing volumes to ensure claims processing meets service levels.- Communicate with dealers and/or Brand field organizations on specific claim issues.
Provide hands-on support and interpretation of warranty policy; implement standardized best practices for claim adjudication processes and procedures to improve quality and consistency, and ad-hoc training daily for claims processors.
- Review and analyze newly reported vehicle damage claims.
Maintain a current and accurate database for the sold warranty policies & insurance policies. Also, the claims will have to be updated on a regular basis.- Process claims within appropriate time frames.
Contact the insurance claim department within 1 hour of receiving the vehicle to book the accident claim request.
- Maintain professional standards in complex claim situations.
Handle heavy customer contact via phone and email.- Following the procedure implemented in the department.
