Job Purpose:
Responsible for operating and maintaining the Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment plant, ensuring efficient processes, safety compliance, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Proper start-up, operation, and shutdown of the Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment plant.
- Record all activities and readings as per the required frequency or schedule.
- Preparation and control of chemicals as required following prescribed safety norms.
- Performing quality checks as required to ensure compliance to process requirement.
- Observing environmental and safety practices while working with machines and handling of chemicals.
- Coordinate and monitor the disposal tankers and appropriate records thereof.
- Observing GMP and maintaining hygiene in plant, workplace and surroundings.
- Correcting the nonconformance in operation and reporting those that require further attention to the Process Supervisor or QC/QA Manager.
- Observing the security, policies, rules and regulations of the Company.
- Maintaining all records of daily operation, and activities as necessary and communicating to the other shift operator.
- Shutting down the process for any nonconformance and reporting to the Process Supervisor or QC/QA Manager.
- Oversee the Solid Waste disposal activities.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree, Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in wastewater treatment (2+ years in anaerobic systems)
- Experience in handling chemicals and waste disposal in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong technical understanding of wastewater systems.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental protocols.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
