Job Purpose
Welding (TIG/MIG) of the components as per Drawing.
Grinding of the welded tanks/components/ assemblies as per Drawings/ Procedures.
Job Context
Position is responsible to Welding Activities.
Job Dimensions
The Welder involves regular and close interactions with all Operations Department specially Assembly and Quality Department.
Key Accountabilities
The position is responsible to:
TIG/MIG Welding and grinding the components & welded assembly as per drawings.
Achieve Daily Production Targets.
Report any abnormalities during machine operation.
PPE and HSE issues.
Cleanness of working area and proper maintenance of the tools/ measuring equipment used
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
ITI (Welder or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years experience as Welder in Manufacturing Company.
Understands the mechanical drawings and experience in switchgear companies will be an advantage.
