Key Responsibilities

  • Directly Support MEAA WS Operations teams by providing a centralized support function including :
  • Preparation / reviewing of BHA's Operational procedures and Tenders technical and commercial.
  • Preparing software modelling for Torque and Drag and hydraulic displacements
  • Providing mentoring and training
  • Attending DWOP's/CWOP's and client technical meetings
  • Perform workshop audits
  • Perform failure investigations
  • Rig site/offshore support when required
  • Oversee the technical development of WBT and other product ranges if required
  • Contribute to design and technical reviews to steer WBT portfolio development and other product ranges if required
  • Prepare training materials, evaluate competencies and deliver training in WBCU
  • Other duties as requested by line manager

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications


  • Min 5yrs experience in Well Bore Clean Out (WBCO) product line at Supervisor level
  • Extensive experience and track record in Onshore and Offshore operations
  • In-depth understanding of well intervention techniques and WBCO Operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of well completion, workover, and abandonment procedures.
  • Familiarity with whipstock operations is beneficial
  • Solid understanding of QHSE standards and regulations, particularly in well intervention contexts.
  • Awareness of risk management and the ability to conduct detailed risk assessments.
  • Excellent English skills, both oral and writing
  • Excellent PC skills, must be proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook

Competencies


  • Perform Wellbore Cleanout Operations (WBCO): Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of wellbore cleanout operations, ensuring the efficiency and integrity of all interventions while adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment with client expectations, and providing regular updates on operational progress and any challenges encountered during well intervention activities.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Manage and lead the well intervention team, including field crews and third-party contractors, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and operations are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • QHSE Compliance: Ensure that all well intervention activities strictly adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments, safety briefings, and implementing preventive measures to mitigate operational risks.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, workshop, and supply chain departments, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee well intervention projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely execution, cost control, and quality assurance in line with project goals and client requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor operational performance metrics and ensure accurate reporting on activities, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement processes, implementing best practices, and promoting innovation in well intervention techniques and technologies.
