Job Purpose:
To ensure optimum advice and customer care quality for service customer in accordance with BMW Group and AGMC standard and successfully contribute in achieving Service Department target and the organization vision and mission.
Job Description:
- Smooth functioning & organization of the workshop procedures & developing its turnover & profitability.
- Making a daily target/actual comparison to check turnover.
- Maximum utilization of workshop capacity, manpower and repair quality.
- Apprentice training & coordinating on-job training with training manager.
- In charge of warranty and warranty procedures during repair process.
- Ensure proper communication between service reception staff & workshop through the right details.
- Preventing accidents in the workshop.
- Correct use and maintenance of workshop equipment.
- Ensuring the work quality based on QMA guidelines for repair quality.
- Following the QMA and Dealer procedures & guidelines.
- Working flexible hours depending on the workload.
- Ensuring that all work descriptions and checking are completed correctly on the rear of the job card prior to testing of the vehicle.
- Ensuring that the workshop staff and team leader sign off the repairs once the job is ready for testing.
- Ensuring that all workshop staff adheres to the time schedules for the workload.
- Ensuring staff adherence to working hours schedule.
- Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction and retention at all times.
- Handling customer complaints and ensuring corrective action has been taken.
- Focus on quality of customer service & regular follow-up.
- Communicate professionally with customers at all times before, during & after the sale.
- Drive the department's business through superior customer service and providing updated product information.
- Communicate and meet with customers on a regular basis with regards to promoting brand.
- Develops and maintain customers relations and ensure customer business growth.
- Maintain the highest levels of product knowledge & competitive products, personal development& integrity, quality standards and business ethics.
- Takes the initiative, suggests and develops plans to maximize utilization and increase productivity and efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in workshop management within the automotive industry, with at least 2 years in a luxury or premium brand environment
- Knowledge in working with CDK Autoline would be an advantage
- Technical knowledge in and expertise in luxury vehicles
- Strong Leadership and Team Management skills
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in automotive service or workshop management can be an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license would be an advantage.
