About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Performs Corporate Entrepreneurship Responsibility (CER) activities including the management of the facility, covering the campuses shifts, resources, technology, and maintenance needed at any given time. In addition to event management and communication as well as performing various tasks aiming to fulfill the set objectives related to the adopted CER strategy.
Also contributes to the overall operations of the digital fabrication lab and co-working space, this involves supporting design and development projects, providing technical assistance to users, and maintaining lab equipment and resources.
Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:
- Oversee daily operations of the digital fabrication lab and the coworking space, ensuring efficient management and utilization of resources.
- Design and develop projects using advanced digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring high standards in all collaborations.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate and empower users of the lab.
- Manage and mentor outsourced teams, overseeing quality and delivery.
- Handle inventory management and ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.
- Prepare detailed reports and analytics on lab activities, events, and program outcomes.
- Contribute to developing the roadmap of activities and programs and provide constant feedback about the ecosystem gaps and opportunities for development.
What We Need From You
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:
- Holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design or any related field
- Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience.
- Candidate should live in Aqaba
- Advanced skills in 2D sketching and 3D modeling (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino).
- Basic knowledge of electronics and Arduino.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in running entrepreneurship programs, events and building communities.
- Strong management or supervisory skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills
- Business knowledge or experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Strong teaching and presentation skills, with experience conducting educational workshops.
- Experience in digital fabrication, including proficiency in 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining.
